Does this look difficult to make?

Does this drink look difficult to make?

It is very easy and fast and took me all of 30 seconds and another minute to drink it.

Would you drink this?

The ingredients are locally sold, so not difficult to buy.

Does it look appealing?

Some people will just look at the ingredients and have made up their mind that it will taste awful.

It doesn’t honestly.

If you are on a weight loss plan or just looking for a fast fix that is healthy then this is great.

The idea of it is convenience, I just finished working out and the gym had hot water issues!!!!

The issue was “They had no hot water”

I like the “wim hof” method as much as anyone but I had just finished a cold dog walk before my work out. I was in need of some warmth.

Anyway back to the reason of the shake, I had a client due in 30 minutes and hadnt replaced the energy used on the dog walk or the gym so I needed to grab something fast.

Also I needed to shower before my client arrived so cooking eggs/spinach or having porridge wasn’t a viable option either.

ARGGGGHHHHH no protein balls pre-made. (Actually they had been eaten by various people over the weekend)

Next best thing is a shake.

Lets take a look!

I use 2 tbsp of pea protein but you can use what ever you usually have.

1Tbsp hemp hearts

1/2 Tbsp chia seeds

1Tbsp Flax oil

1Tbsp vanilla

1 banana

300ml oat milk and 100 ml filter water (The water is my taste, I do not like it too creamy but use 400 ml oat milk if you wish)

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS?

I needed something high in protein, the pea protein and hemp hearts are great for that.

I also needed energy back, the chia seeds addressed that.

Flax oil for the inflammation that is caused by training.

“Roughly” I consumed 30 grams of protein in this drink. I maintained my energy levels and if you look closely at the picture you can see the supplements.

I take these morning and a different dosage at night.

12 hours of complete nutrient cover.

I have constant energy and I feel great knowing my health is covered with these.

What I take……

3 Antioxidant 1 chelated mineral 2 gingko 1 procosa morning.

3 chelated mineral 1 antioxidant 1 procosa 1 proflavanol 1 vitamin D evening.
