Spice it up!

Spice it up!

Winter spices to keep those nasty bugs away. All you need to do is add them to your daily routine.

Sound easy?

It is, look at the list below.

My top Four to always add to your week.

1/cinnamon

Add a chunk of cinnamon bark to your usual cup of tea. Cook your chicken with cinnamon, coconut oil, and garlic. Add it to a bullet coffee. So many ways to use this spice and you can sprinkle on top of granola.

What makes cinnamon so good?

Blood sugar balancing

High in antioxidants

Fights diabetes

Helps lower risk of infections and viruses by protecting heart health and is anti-inflammatory.

Bullet Coffee

I Use 1 tsp of grass-fed butter 1 tsp coconut oil and a high-grade coffee and whizz together with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cayenne pepper, this has a thermogenic effect. This coffee burns fat and gives you a boost. Use after gym training for extra fat burn effect.

2/Cayenne

My particular favourite, heats you and your metabolism up. Add to a stir-fry or a bullet coffee again. Add this spice to anything, even scrhttp://mariataitnutrition.loc/turmeric-latte/ambled eggs.

This spice actually relieves migraines, provides detox support and is an excellent digestion aid. It is a great source of vitamin A, E and prevents allergies.

Relieves joint pain and supports weight loss.

3/Turmeric

Try my turmeric latte!

This wonder spice helps detox the body, boosts cognitive function, is an anti-inflammatory. It is a powerful spice and if you add pepper to a dish with this spice you enhance the absorption.

4/Ginger

Say hello to your cold-weather fighting friend, this one can pack a punch when it comes to kicking out the toxins. Add to tea if powdered, add to soups and this one goes nicely with my Pea soup.
