How do you roll in the mornings?

I am talking about what you start your day with?

I personally “roll” with a glass of water on waking. Left by my bedside at night with lemon to start my body off detoxing.

I get downstairs about 15 minutes after and make a coffee and listen to my morning motivational 3-5 minute video.

That’s not everyone’s way but it works for me.

Let’s go back a bit as my “coffee” is not your usual coffee and it is the habit I have formed and told myself I need, I love the morning coffee and make the absolute most of the time drinking it.

Ok so this is how I roll, then my “house” wakes up and the day starts.

Breakfast for the kids:)

This is another huge part of my morning, the children are all at school full time now so fuelling their brains is essential.

No, I don’t give them a kimera coffee.

Just the thought of them having more energy.

 

 

Ok, so this is how they “roll” in the mornings.

Breakfast one

Porridge made with oat milk/almond milk/cashew milk

Sprinkled with nuts/seeds/raisins

Agave/honey to sweeten.

Breakfast Two

Protein pancakes made with quality protein powder and organic eggs and gluten free flour.

Topped with seeds/nuts/apple and nut butter.

Breakfast Three

Egg and spinach with avocado on sour dough toast and grass fed butter.

Breakfast Four

Home made cereal

Porridge oats, dried fruit of choice, nuts, seeds, flax seeds, desiccated coconut, coconut sugar if required and use a nut based milk or oat milk if allergies.

Now all these breakfasts are high in protein and good quality fats.

They will sustain the energy and feed that ever working brain. All breakfasts take 10-15 minutes to make and eat.

Now after they have eaten, they sometimes walk our dog with me and go off to school after that.

Now that’s how I roll what about you?

I must add, I eat breakfast later after I have walked the dog and that works for me.

I will have a healthy shake full of goodness. This keeps me energized further and I can train at the gym before I start my working day.
